Installation

  1. Set up shadcn/ui

    Start with a React and Tailwind CSS v4 project. The components use your theme’s colors, borders, and typography, so they feel at home in your app.

    npx shadcn@4.21.5 init

  2. Choose a component

    Find an interaction in the component collection and copy its install command. Configure the @cavemio namespace once below. The installer adds its source, helpers, and dependencies to your project.

    First install? Configure @cavemio once

    Run npx shadcn@4.21.5 init if shadcn is not set up, then merge this entry into the registries field in your existing components.json. Keep your other settings and registries.
